Responsibilities:
· Â Â Conduct research on target accounts.
·        Manage sales forecasting and pipeline spreadsheets.
·        Coordinate regular marketing materials and press releases.
·        Manage the company’s blog postings.
·        Travel the Tri-State area.
·        Assist in preparing materials for presentations and conference calls.
·        Maintain customer records, using automated systems.
·        Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations, and attending trade shows and conferences.
·        Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information.
Time Allocation (subject to change)
·        80%: Create defensible partnerships with existing and prospective customers. Source, appoint and develop longer-term business relationships within territory. Conduct an average of 15-20 calls per day; 80-100 calls per week.
·        20%: Create and execute a territory business plan; drive management and individual planning.

·        Knowledge of current business and economic conditions, industry trends, the competition and territory specific issues. Strong business acumen.
·        Strong sales focus and strong marketing perspective. Driven to achieve and exceed clearly-defined metrics (i.e., new premium and new policy goals).
·        Effective communication and, specifically, formal and informal presentation and negotiation skills that can effectively influence and persuade others.
·        Create strong defensible partnerships with existing and prospective agencies by driving share-shift to increase TERS’ ranking in the office.
·        Partner with various parts of TERS’ franchise to exploit every opportunity and solve every problem an agent/client may present.
·        Effectively cultivate strong business relationships, overcome obstacles and find common ground for pursuing business opportunities.
·        Effectively solve problems, anticipate issues, and search out & analyze available information.
Requirements:
·        Sales experience (3+ years) with a national or regional carrier or restoration companies.
·        Estimating and marketing capability.
·        Understanding of insurance rules and regulations, restoration work, and service requirements.
·        Onboarding/Assimilation Assumption: 1 to 3 month ramp up (Our story, service, technology)
