Position Requirements:

Technically competent with various software programs

Responsibilities:
Responsible for business development, maintenance of customer relationships and the scoping of projects/jobs
Ensures proper costing and utilization of labor and equipment. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and Influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Directs personnel in the operational procedures to complete assignments and understands the manpower and equipment requirements to complete field service projects and emergency responses.

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Understands and works with the Office Manager in the communication of the manpower, equipment and resources required to complete field service projects.
Oversees and is responsible for projects for health & safety, completeness and professionalism.

Ensures proper communication to the foreman/supervisor to ensure that contractual obligations are met to complete requested services, project progression status and change orders are completed and executed, prior to any additional work being performed. Ensures the customer acknowledges change order(s).
Responsible for health and safety issues surrounding projects assigned, including reviewing of operational procedures to assure correct health & safety action plans and communicates effectively with the organization regarding on-site specific action.
Interfaces with the customer in a professional and effective manner to update them on the project status and/or to resolve problems/issues.
Documents competitive issues and properly conveys findings to management teams.

Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Performs other assignments as assigned by management.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent (required)
2-4 year degree in environmental studies (preferred)
3-5 years field service operations experience (required)
Competencies:
Leadership and supervisory skills
Knowledge of equipment, environmental regulations/statutes, safety and compliance (strongly preferred).
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required.
Proficiency in Windows based applications.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently requires sitting, standing, walking, grasping and reaching.
May, occasionally require lifting up to 50 lbs, pulling and/or pushing and carrying.
Dexterity of hands and fingers required to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects.
Travel is required for the purpose of meeting with clients, visiting job sites, etc.
Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
